Interlocking safety grating stair treads provide a number of advantages - slip-resistance, fast and simple installation, economical cost and versatility. 45% opening area permits quick passage of fluids, mud, snow and other debris. Raised dimples offer traction in all directions and in all weathers. Carrier plates with pre-punched holes and slots are used to bolt to stair stringers. The dimension of carrier plates are different for stair treads with or without nosing. Look the details from the table below. Intermediate stringer is recommended when spans are over 4 feet.
